Before each application, the existing structure, length, and shape of the nail are evaluated. Then, the nail is shaped, the treatment area around the cuticle is cleaned, and the nail surface is prepared for the application. Proper removal of oil, moisture, dust, and product residue from the surface at this stage is crucial for the healthy adhesion of subsequent layers to the nail.
Depending on the type of application, a base coat, rubber base, or builder gel system is used to create a suitable foundation for the natural nail. Especially in applications requiring structural support, the product is applied in a controlled manner, taking into account the natural form of the nail. The overall balance of the nail, its side walls, and any necessary structural support points are considered to achieve a smoother and more balanced appearance.
In color applications, products are applied in thin, controlled layers without creating unnecessary thickness on the surface. Each layer is cured under a UV or LED lamp, depending on the product system used. This ensures a more homogeneous color appearance and a clean finish.
